Jacobs Fold is a residence down Church Lane, Emmerdale, opposite Farrers Barn. It was named after Jacob Sugden, who died in 1972. It has been the home of Pearl Ladderbanks. The house used to be called Hawkins Cottage and was once lived in by the McAllister family from 1993 to 1995.
The property was built in about 1850. In 1972 when Jacob Sugden, the chief farmer in the village died, the house was named after him.
Jacobs Fold is right next to the second oldest house in the village, Tenant House.
