Synopsis

Tom Raistrick visits Joe Sugden at Emmerdale to give him legal advice after his letter from his estranged wife Christine Sugden's solicitor, hinting at a divorce. Henry Wilks explains his trip to Bradford. Annie Sugden phones from a telephone box in Middlesborough to say she is coming home early, today in fact. Her and Sam Pearson return with a surprise, their relative Rosemary Kendall. She introduces her to her cousin Joe.
