Emmie ep 170
At the Woolpack Amos Brearly was nervous about Ethel Ainsworth arriving yet again. Yet again Wally Lumm is appealing against Reverend Edward Ruskin and is getting people to sign a petition. Henry Wilks throws him out. Dryden Hogben still does not want paying for the attic work at Emmerdale Farm. Amos was later pleased to hear that Ethel has accepted a proposal of marriage from a man who is the landlord of The White Lion in Hotten. This man is Mr Snape. Amos and Mr Wilks decide it is time to celebrate.
