Synopsis[]
w:c:emmerdale:Phil Pearce gets the wrong end of the stick when he yet again sees w:c:emmerdale:Steve Fuller talking with w:c:emmerdale:Sandie Merrick. They have an altercation in the main bar of w:c:emmerdale:The Woolpack. w:c:emmerdale:Amos Brearly and w:c:emmerdale:Henry Wilks quickly intervene. Fuller meets w:c:emmerdale:Dolly Skilbeck in w:c:emmerdale:Harrogate and they wine and dine. She mentions her 1985 miscarriage to Steve when giving him the lowdown of her marriage to w:c:emmerdale:Matt Skilbeck.

While she never mentioned his actual name, Dolly did refer to the baddest Beckindale villager of the 1980s - w:c:emmerdale:Harry Mowlam in this episode, over 2 years after his murder. While chatting to Steve Fuller in this episode, she said she was going to have another baby after Sam but that went wrong. 2 and a half years earlier, In November 1985, Dolly had a miscarriage, bought on by Harry Mowlam after he gave her a fright.
