Synopsis[]
w:c:emmerdale:Joe Sugden is not happy with the fact that w:c:emmerdale:Alan Turner has been done for drink driving. He says that they have lost an important client for the shooting weekend as w:c:emmerdale:Sir Charles Douglas has decided to go back to w:c:emmerdale:London. Turner tells Joe to stop moralising. w:c:emmerdale:Archie Brooks and w:c:emmerdale:Caroline Bates have a chat. Alan Turner decides not to sack w:c:emmerdale:Jock MacDonald. w:c:emmerdale:Amos Brearly and w:c:emmerdale:Henry Wilks get chatting. Henry says he has seen a Siberian Thrush in w:c:emmerdale:Filley Wood. Amos is worried that Henry will emigrate to Italy after their row the other day, when Henry says the Siberian Thrush cannot mate with the natives, and will not return to Russia, that in the end it dies. Amos drops a hint saying "All that way from home. All alone". Henry still does not tell Amos straight if he is emigrating. Turner meets w:c:emmerdale:Dolly Skilbeck in w:c:emmerdale:Hotten outside the police station. He says he has been done for drink driving.
