Synopsis[]

Emmie ep 1234

An increasingly depressed w:c:emmerdale:Jock MacDonald mouths off at w:c:emmerdale:Alan Turner in w:c:emmerdale:The Woolpack in front of w:c:emmerdale:Sir Charles Douglas, a friend of Turners. Turner says they will talk tomorrow. w:c:emmerdale:Seth Armstrong and w:c:emmerdale:Henry Wilks escort Jock off the premises. Alan apologises to Charles but Charles says he was promised a bit of Yorkshire colour and there it was. Later on that night, Turner is driving Charles back to w:c:emmerdale:Home Farm down a quiet country lane and is arrested for drink driving and speeding. Turner and Charles have to accompany w:c:emmerdale:Sgt Ian MacArthur to the police station. He phones w:c:emmerdale:Joe Sugden to ask him to pick Sir Charles up. Joe had planned a night in with w:c:emmerdale:Ruth Pennington. Joe arranges to show Sir Charles around the Home Farm estate the next day but Sir Charles decides to go back to the hotel and get an early train back to w:c:emmerdale:London tomorrow morning. He has had a disastrous trip to Beckindale. Joe is annoyed that Alan has lost them a valuable client. Turner is released on bail, returns to Home Farm, and is tempted to a drink but pours it on the floor.
