Synopsis[]
w:c:emmerdale:Matt Skilbeck is given bail over being suspected of the murder of w:c:emmerdale:Harry Mowlam. Due to his blackout he cannot remember what happened after the fight with him. Matt's solicitor is Victor Meldrew...sorry w:c:emmerdale:Mr Hall. w:c:emmerdale:Sandie Merrick says she needs to tell the police that she thought she saw w:c:emmerdale:Derek Warner on the day of the robbery of the wages van last year. w:c:emmerdale:Pat Sugden says Sandie will have to be prepared for some very harsh words as the police won't take kindly to witheld information. w:c:emmerdale:Jackie Merrick goes with Sandie for support. w:c:emmerdale:DS Webb is told, and is a very unhappy man at Sandie witholding information. She says she was worried about what may happen. Webb takes a dim view of it and says he could have her for wasting police time. He is fair to her and asks if she will testify against Derek Warner in a court of law. Derek is then taken in for questioning. Jackie sees w:c:emmerdale:Sgt Ian MacArthur drive Derek away in a police car and smiles at Sandie. He says that Sandie has done it, got Derek arrested.
